Predictions are that Adam Lambert’s next Tweet will be that they have finished the video for “Better Than I Know Myself” and that it’s gonna be sick.
NOT MY PREDICTION
I don’t see “groundbreaking”.
I do see this single as “laying the groundwork”. The Adam Bomb has been built.
I don’t see “out of the box”.
I do see this single as “neatly fitting into” today’s radio market. The Adam Bomb has been carefully placed in exactly the right place.
I don’t see an “explosion”.
I do see the Adam Bomb timer being set and Adam’s “finger on the red button”, waiting for the perfect moment.
The actual “EXPLOSION” will happen after “Trespassing” is released and Adam has some new and different fans, after he is played on the radio and radio in the USA loves him and people recognize that phenomenal voice as we wait in anticipation for a live tour in the summer.
The “EXPLOSION” comes with the next single. An important lesson was learned with “For Your Entertainment” when Adam appeared on the American Music Awards and unleashed all the voice, the dancing, the sets, the fashion and the raunchy sexiness. I was ready. I heard the song on his official site. I saw the video. I had been following Adam since American Idol and had done plenty of research on everything he had done before Idol. But the rest of the country wasn’t ready. No one told them to be prepared to expect the unexpected. The Adam Bomb exploded with lots of collateral damage. Plan B was implemented. Luckily for Adam, he had an arsenal of weapons. He had four or five songs on his album that could be radio hits and enough talent and versatility to pull it off. And pull it off he did, making “Whataya Want From Me” a platinum hit, fronting his own tour of the US and then taking it around the globe. “The “Glam Nation Tour” looked like the AMAs, with the voice, the dancing, the sets, the fashion and most of all, the raunchy sexiness.
Adam has had time to reflect as he worked on his second album. He knows that many aren’t able to handle what he’s about to do. The first single from “Trespassing”, due out March 20th, was carefully chosen out of a bigger and better arsenal than Adam had two years ago. He had time. He had money. He had experience. He got himself new management and took control by naming himself as “executive director”. He has Tweeted hints to his most obsessed fans about who he has been working with and what creative direction he wants to take. This first single, “Better Than I Know Myself”, is not the complete picture. It’s not the rocket heading straight into space. It is the King looking out to his minions. The kingdom has all kinds of people. There are his loyal followers who will eat up anything he serves and bow down to his feet. There are fans who like most of what he dishes out but settle for only what they like. Then there is the general public that can probably only handle him in small doses, the kind that come on shows like “The Tonight Show” (tune in on January 17th) and “Ellen” (tune in on January 19th).
Adam is carefully plotting his next move… testing the waters… setting the traps.
And don’t plan on trying to figure out the “direction”. Just like a bomb it will have “Ground Zero”. But it is what is spread out in every direction that will have the lasting “impact”.
Be prepared for the “GROUNDBREAKING”, “OUT OF THE BOX”, “EXPLOSION” to come with the next single.

Younger lambs are smaller and more tender. Mutton is meat from a sheep over two years old, and has less tender flesh. In general, the darker the colour, the older the animal. Baby lamb meat will be pale pink, while regular lamb is pinkish-red..’`-

Sometimes spam needs to stay. LOL
And if it’s LAMBERT meat it provides a tasty, full 9″ of prime eating.

This is a very astute commentary. I agree with everything said here. I think the main reason Adam Lambert is not completely accepted the way he deserves to be is the fact that he is gay. Apparently America is still not ready for a “gay Idol.”
If Adam were a straight man he would be readily accepted by mainstream America. It is a shame that our society is so judgmental. Hopefully that will change, but I do believe that Adam’s music will now be considered more on its merit rather than on the fact that the artist is a gay man.
Adam always has a plan B ready for implementation. If necessary, plan C also exists. This is the year of Adam Lambert.
