This morning in the bathtub… I was thinking about Adam Lambert. (Isn’t he gorgeous!) OK, that is not unusual, and on that same track: I have this aversion to blending in.
My husband and I just finished painting our front door. Our home was built in 1960 and it has a vintage ‘bullseye’ door. We thought it would be cool to paint it orange and white; so we did.
As I’m reflecting about our groovy front door: I start singing some lyrics from “Whole Lotta Love”, specifically, “I wanna be your back door man”, which can mean a couple of things as it relates to Adam Lambert. Then I started to think that perhaps I should paint the back door too.
Onward to the story: one of my symbols is a feather. Only within the last year it seems feathers appear at my feet, and a really bizarre thing happen just a couple weeks ago involving a small, black feather like the ones on a boa.
A dear friend of mine was telling me about her idea to craft something with feathers. It is not unusual for me and this friend to be thinking of the same things at the same time. I was about to call her, but my husband *ding*someone just said “husband” on TV just finished hanging the newly painted door, and I wanted to see how it looked from the street.
I walked down the front sidewalk, turned around, and found a feather at my feet. The feather was sitting on my desk when I called my friend. She’s been giving me ideas for this site and the first thing she said was that perhaps I should add some pictures of my symbols, like a feather for instance. Since this is my first blog, I think I will do something special with this feather.
I just glanced at the corner of my computer screen and “feather” was word number 333 – What does 333 mean? Agreement or approval from the Universe and dimensional forces beyond the scope of human senses – . I glanced at the clock and it’s 8:04 . This feather just became even more special.
